SOME REMINDERS
Everyone is reminded: If you cannot make your assignment - please, get a substitute for yourself in advance. At each Mass, Ministers of Holy Communion should work out with each other and between themselves if they will be distributing the Consecrated Bread or the Consecrated Wine. There is no particular task to which anyone is assigned. Some persons are unsteady and concerned about holding onto a Chalice. At the end of Communion the Chalice should be returned to the altar empty; if you are not able to consume the last of the precious Blood ask for assistance.
Ministers of Communion are reminded: If you touch the head of a child to give a blessing do not use the same hand to distribute the Bread. People receiving Holy . Communion do not want a hand that has touched hair to be handling the sacred food they eat. Simply, switch hands as needed.
After Communion, when the empty chalice is returned to the Altar do not put the purificator (cleaning cloth) into the chalice. Lay the purificator down upon the Altar.
Readers are reminded: Try to project your words directly into the very tip, top of the microphone. Not over it or past it. You cannot read too slowly. You cannot over-pronounce words.
